Senior Engineer - CD-adapco, London Office/Aberdeen, UK

CD-adapco currently has a vacancy for a Senior Engineer in the London Agency. The position involves a combination of project work for clients and prospective clients, training and mentoring, and assisting customers on the use of our CAE/CFD software. You will be working with many of the leading engineering companies and cutting-edge users of CAE technology, from F1 to Oil & Gas, and taking a leading role in supporting and developing their expertise with CD-adapco’s software.

What are we looking for?

Expertise: BSc/BEng degree and post-graduate qualifications involving CFD simulation, or equivalent relevant experience in industry.

Experience: Exposure to commercial CFD tools in an industrial setting, particularly STAR-CCM+ or STAR-CD. Specialised experience in one or more relevant industrial fields would be expected.

Communication skills: Excellent communication skills, both with customers and internally, aiming to provide high quality technical solutions. Acting as first point of contact for all customers’ technical needs, a previous customer-oriented role would be advantageous.

Attitude: Results-driven, with a desire to succeed. Approachable and business-oriented with a professional attitude towards work. Proactive in improving working practices and communicating ideas within CD-adapco.

Time management: A demonstrated ability to multi-task and conduct projects to tight deadlines.
