Senior Programmer – Rome, Italy

CD-adapco is looking for a highly qualified and motivated candidate to contribute to the development of our current CFD/CAE tool, STAR-CCM+. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing mesh generation, mesh smoothing and mesh optimization routines for CFD meshes.

The location for this job is the CD-adapco development office in Rome, Italy. All applicants must have work authorization in Italy.

Job Requirements:

The following will be required of all candidates:

• MS or PhD or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2-5 years of industry experience
• Fluency in English and Italian
• Proven expertise in using C++ and Java for software development
• Experience in optimization and mesh generation for CFD/CAE applications
• Ability to work as part of a team to meet project goals

In addition, experience in one or of the following areas is desired:

• Knowledge of parallel programming techniques
• Meshing for computation fluid dynamics or related disciplines
