CFD Software Testing & Validation Engineer - CD-adapco, London, UK

CD-adapco are seeking to recruit a Project Test Engineer to maintain and enhance the quality of its range of world leading CFD/CAE products. With a first-degree or post-graduate degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Chemical engineering or related subject, you should have demonstrable knowledge and experience of industrial CFD applications. You should possess computing skills which may include: UNIX, Java, shell scripts, Perl, Python, C++, FORTRAN, systems/internet-based scripting. Experience in software testing and process automation will be an advantage.

You will contribute to the rigorous testing and validation of new versions of STAR-CCM+, STAR-CD and other CD-adapco products throughout their development and release life-cycles to continually improve their quality.

The role will involve testing a wide variety of software features, therefore it will suit someone who can learn new skills quickly and prioritise multiple projects, who can work independently and as part of a team. You must be methodical and thorough, innovative, confident and be able to communicate effectively at all levels across the organisation.

The position is based in London, involves both hands-on testing and coordination of activities by other groups internationally. This could be an ideal opportunity for someone who wishes to expand on their CFD application expertise.
