CD-adapco is seeking a software development professional to specialize in the performance analysis and code optmization of our flagship multi-physics software, STAR-CCM+. As a member of an experienced team, your responsibility will be to assist in making our codes run faster and use less memory.

The ideal candidate will have a masters or PhD in computer science or engineering plus 4-5 years of professional experience. Experience in and/or knowledge of the following is desired:

• Scientific programming
• Numerical algorithms (e.g., tree seaches)
• C++, including template metaprogramming
• exposure to PETE, Blitz++, Boost
• Parallel computing using MPI
• Compiler architecture and memory management and math kernel library(Gnu C++ and Intel C++)
• exposure to or interest in LLVM and Open64 helpful
• Tools such as Intel VTune, AMD CodeAnalyst, etc.
• Ability to read and understand assembly language as output by compilers
• Understanding of operating system internals (Linux, Windows)
• Understanding of memory mapping and out-of-order execution
• Knowledge of SSE2
