About the Position: CFD Specialist, Technical Marketing

Location: Melville, New York; Seattle, Washington; Austin, Texas; Houston, Texas; Irvine, California

CD-adapco is seeking an industrially experienced CFD Application Engineer to help us communicate to Industry the benefits delivered by our engineering simulation software (including STAR-CCM+ and STAR-CD) and our related consulting services.

This position works in a dynamic international team and in cooperation with CD-adapco's skilled developers, support teams and especially with our sales/marketing professionals. This role involves developing technical content, case studies, magazine/newsletter articles, presentations, and other collateral, as well as developing and presenting technical demonstrations.

The qualified applicant will be energetic and enthusiastic and have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. He/she should be a highly motivated, successful engineer, excited by the opportunities that CFD can offer Industry and wants to broaden the scope of his/her career to a more commercially focused technical marketing role.

Candidates must have some experience delivering industrial strength CFD solutions using a leading commercial CFD code, such as STAR-CCM+, CFX, or Fluent. Practical experience of an industry such as Aerospace, Energy, Turbomachinery, Electronics or Automotive would be a distinct advantage.
