CFD Product Support Engineer - Austin, Texas

Position Description

CD-adapco is seeking a Product Support Engineer specializing in mesh generation to maintain and enhance the quality of its range of world leading CFD/CAE products. Product Support Engineers work with software developers and test engineers to ensure that new software features are usable by end users and ready for general release. The Product Support Engineers also liaise with the product delivery teams to train them on new features and to ensure that end user issues are answered and fixed in a prompt manner. You will contribute to the rigorous testing and validation of new versions of STAR-CCM+ throughout their development and release life-cycles to continually improve their quality.

The position is located in Austin, Texas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in CFD, Computer Science and/or Civil, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Proven expertise in mesh generation with 2-3 years of experience with a commercial package, preferably STAR-CCM+ or other industrial CFD code.
• Experience in both Windows and Linux operating systems and development of JAVA based tests.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team to meet project goals
