Recognizing the importance of supporting the
academic Engineering community, we offer students and universities the opportunity
to take advantage of a special licensing program. CD-adapco is providing you
with the chance to take advantage of STAR-CCM+ by offering the possibility to work with our solution in both teaching and research. CD-adapco's fluid dynamics code, STAR-CCM+, is the standard in
the commercial CFD community and is available to the academic community at a monumental
discount.
From CAD to post-processing, STAR-CCM+ delivers the entire CFD process in a single integrated software environment. This unique approach brings unrivalled ease-of-use and automation to CAD preparation, meshing, model set-up and iterative design studies, enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of students' learning.
The speed and accuracy brought about by STAR-CCM+ will vastly benefit your pre-designed curriculum, lab work, and
independent student projects. CFD simulations with STAR-CCM+ can validate your experimentation
results and aid in design optimization.
Most importantly, participating in CD-adapco's University Program

Licensing Options
CD-adapco offers flexible licensing options of STAR-CCM+ for both professors and students. STAR-CCM+ is considered an essential tool to complement Bachelor's and Master's courses such as: fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, aerodynamics, and computational fluid dynamics. Included in this teaching package are Academic Teaching Modules which help students gain familiarity with the software through various ‘real-world’ applications.
Research and Instructional Packages include: Licenses, Training, STAR-Tutor Interactive Sessions, Support and Academic Teaching Modules.
