We recognize that companies are interested in using simulation to design pumps that perform to specification not only at the Best Efficiency Point (BEP), but also under wide-ranging operating conditions. Such companies know that their customers will not always operate their pumps at the BEP, so the more robust they can make their designs, the better.

These companies also know that simulation can be a cost-efficient way for them to help answer all the numerous ‘What If…?’ questions associated with exploring new and innovative design configurations.

By participating in this webinar, you will obtain an understanding of how you can:

Obtain rapid throughput with your CFD flow simulations of centrifugal water pumps – from CAD to mesh to simulation results...

Many real engineering applications which have not traditionally benefited from simulation in the past involve complex relative, interlocking motions that cannot be modeled by the simple rotational or translational models that are common in simulation software. This presents a headache to remeshing and morphing techniques.

Overset mesh represents a paradigm shift in motion modeling that allows motion, however complex, to be easily simulated, be that a full production line, the motion of the arm of an excavator removing rock and soil, the spray painting of a car, or a lifeboat launch together with all of the associated physics those simulations entail.

This online event provides an introduction to overset mesh and related methods such as DFBI. It will provide you with an...

Chicago (Rosemont), Illinois USA
October 6, 2014

This event will feature a wide range of advanced topics related to aftertreatment devices presented by our technical leads and one of our product managers. Experts from different fields will be present to showcase demonstrations on various applications and answer your questions.

Workshops
Düsseldorf, Germany
September 24, 2014

Workshops
Houston, TX USA
September 23, 2014

This seminar will feature presentations from leading companies in the marine and offshore industry, as well as experts from CD-adapco. A representative from Houston Offshore Engineering will also be there, discussing VIM analysis of Deep Draft Column Stabilized Floaters.

If you’re interested in discovering more about what’s involved in performing such analyses, the seminar will feature both live demonstrations of STAR-CCM+, and an opportunity to try it yourself, with a hands-on session.
