2010 Aerospace & Defense STAR Global Forum
The 2010 STAR GlobalForum will showcase the results and business benefits simulation is delivering to the Aerospace and Defense Industries. Participants will learn how flow, thermal, and stress simulation is facilitating innovation through improved design and development for performance improvements and risk mitigation.

Topics covered will include advanced meshing, surface wrapping, 6-DOF modeling, CAD manipulation and import, and advanced post-processing. Introduction to Computational Fluid Dynamics Using STAR-CCM+ This workshop is designed to introduce individuals, who are new to CFD, to the benefits of using the STAR-CCM+ toolset in their design process. Through tutorials, trainers will demonstrate the complete analysis process starting with the import of CAD geometries, preparation of models (surface wrapping), meshing principles, physics set-up, through to post-processing examples for results visualization. |
