The CD-adapco Academic Program goes beyond just providing software licenses.  We are committed to preparing students for a successful engineering career in industry, while educating them in one of the most advanced engineering simulation software packages available.  Therefore, the CD-adapco Academic Program provides students, professors and graduates of our program the latest information on engineering simulation in both academia and industry.

Licensing Options

CD-adapco offers flexible licensing options of STAR-CCM+ for both professors and students. From CAD modeling to post-processing, STAR-CCM+ delivers the entire CFD process in a single integrated environment. With outstanding ease-of-use and accuracy, it is considered a necessary tool to complement various undergraduate and graduate courses such as, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer and of course, computational fluid dynamics. Included in this teaching package are Academic Teaching Modules which help students gain familiarity with the software through various ‘real-world’ scenarios.

Research and Instructional Packages include: licenses, training, STAR-Tutor Interactive and Online sessions, support and Academic Teaching Modules.

Academic Simulation Image Contest

The CD-adapco Global Academic Program is pleased to announce our first ever Academic Simulation Image Contest! Please send us your coolest and informative simulation post processing to be featured on our new academic marketing posters to be hung in hundreds of engineering labs and classrooms at Academic Institutions around the world!
