To ensure academics are utilizing STAR-CCM+ to its fullest extent, we have developed five teaching modules for easy integration into your CFD course curriculum. These modules have been developed under the guidance of Professor David Gosman and Milovan Peric, author of the widely used book, Computational Methods for Fluid Dynamics.
These modules or “virtual flow labs” are targeted to complement existing curricula for typical theory-based and experimental courses in fluid mechanics. They are designed to help students gain deeper insight into the complex field of fluid dynamics through visualization of flow physics, to obtain a better understanding of CFD methodology and to gain experience with a world-class CFD solver.
