To bridge the gap between Academia and Industry, CD-adapco is actively engaged in a number of strategic partnerships to continually grow and develop tomorrow’s engineers for successful careers with our industry customers. CD-adapco academic partnerships provide a win-win for both our commercial and academic partners.  Students involved in these partnerships gain valuable experience using one of the most advanced engineering simulation tools available, STAR-CCM+, on real-world applications while learning and working along side some of the most knowledgeable simulation engineers in the industry.  For our commercial customers, we help foster relationships with some of the most prestigious academic institutions and professors in the world.  We take pride in playing an integral role in educating tomorrow’s engineers for our customers today.

Participation in the CD-adapco Global Academic Program provides our academic partners with opportunities to publicize their work through participation in our STAR Global Conference, success stories in our monthly STAR Academics Newsletter, our electronic Technical Library that is viewed by thousands of CAE specialists from around the globe as well as posting the work on our own website.  The CD-adapco Global Academic Program – where academics go to see and be seen!

CD-adapco’s flagship engineering simulation tool, STAR-CCM+, is the gold standard in the commercial CFD community and is a key ingredient to guide our academic partners to engineering success.  In keeping with our “more than just licenses” philosophy, CD-adapco’s involvement in these engagements goes beyond providing software.  Our new state-of-the-art distance learning system offers a wide range of training modules that can be accessed from anywhere, any time, and at your own pace.  This training coupled with our support portal, Steve, provides academics with access to best practices, technical articles, how-to-videos, FAQs and more.  This support is available 24 hours per day / seven days a week.  With over 30 years experience and 100’s of technical experts on our staff, CD-adapco is always at your side.
