STAR-CCM+, along with STAR-CD, offers a streamlined process with flexibility, accuracy, quick turnaround time and closer integration of analysis of powertrain-related applications like turbochargers and SCR in the development process. SCR aftertreatment systems can be modeled in detail using CD-adapco solutions. All key phenomena – spray dynamics, impingement and wall film behavior, multicomponent liquid, gas phase and surface chemistry are included and validated extensively against experimental data.
