As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a highly motivated Electrical engineer to join our team providing technical advice in all aspects of engineering analysis to clients in different types of Electric Machine design and Analysis using SPEED and STAR-CCM+.

Working under the supervision of a Team Leader, the successful applicant will work closely with clients to determine and achieve their analysis needs and goals. The duties associated with this position include assistance with understanding initial design requirements, analyse, evaluate and enhance the design for electromagnetic analysis, design and validate the results with the predicted/desired performance of different types of Electrical Machine. Excellent communication skills and a desire to work with clients are critical to success in this fast-paced and broad engineering role. This position may require up to 25 percent travel. 


Minimum requirements include:

  • Master’s Degree, or greater, in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2 – 6 years of experience required in CFD industry with Electric machine design & analysis specialization
  • Fundamental Knowledge of different types of Electrical Motor, their working principals, Design of electric machine from drawings and given design control variables, electromagnetic and Heat Transfer analysis.
  • Providing timely support on designing the machine of different manufacturer’s specifications for benchmarking.
  • Proven expertise in Computational Electromagnetics specifically in fields such as low frequency application, magnetic materials and magnetic hysteresis modelling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to conduct training classes involving participants of varying skill levels
  • Knowledge of SPEED is not essential, but will be considered as a plus during the selection process.
