CD-adapco에서 근무하면서 가장 큰 성과 중 하나는 곧 출시되는 STAR-CCM+ 새로운 버전의 뛰어난 기능들을 보여주는 멋진 수많은 애니메이션을 볼 수 있다는 것입니다. 아쉬운 점은 새로운 기능이 출시 전까지 이러한 것들을 공유할 수 없다는 부분입니다. 저는 오늘 제가 보고 또 다시 보게 되는 가장 좋아하는 두 가지 영상을 보여드릴 수 있어 매우 기쁘게 생각합니다. 두 영상은 움직이는 형상과 경계면 사이에서의 직접적인 모델 접촉 또는 충돌에 대한 해석이 가능한 STAR-CCM+ v9.04의 DFBI(Dynamic Fluid Body Interaction) 솔버를 사용한 새로운 접촉 모델을 보여주고 있습니다.

This February we announce the release of STAR-CCM+ v9.02 and one of the most exiting features to join the wealth of multiphase capabilities in this release is the Dispersed Multiphase (DMP) model.

The simulation of applications such as aircraft deicing/anti-icing, and vehicle soiling and water management will now take a fraction of the time with the new Dispersed Multiphase (DMP) model in STAR-CCM+ v9.02.

CD-adapco is committed to the philosophy of “simulating systems”. This gives our users the opportunity to take into account all the factors likely to influence the performance of their product in its operational life when building a simulation. As part of that commitment, one of our ongoing development themes in STAR-CCM+ involves making multiphase flows more accessible to all of our users. For this, we introduce a feature that allows you to tackle a wider range of industrial applications (bridging the “gaps” described above) by further improving solver performance.
