es-ice V2.10 – Released!

CD-adapco is pleased to announce that a new version of es-ice is available from our User Services Site: https://support.cd-adapco.com. The es-ice expert system automates setting up and running the sophisticated moving-mesh technology required for engine simulation. It automatically produces a parameterized meshed template that can be altered for specific engine configurations. es-ice empowers engineers to achieve rapid, accurate CFD analysis of internal combustion engines of all types.

As with previous releases, es-ice V2.10 includes many enhancements that have been carefully implemented in order to increase your productivity, allowing you to spend more time analyzing the results of your engine simulations, and less time preparing and running your models.

Improvements to the polyhedral trimming have been implemented to increase the ease of use and robustness of the process in combination with STAR-CD V4.08. Enhancements that increase the modeling capability for spray optimized meshing are also available in this release, along with additional functionality in the STAR Controls setup options. es-ice V2.10 is provided with STAR-CD V4.08, but you can also install it for use with STAR-CD V3.26. To download es-ice V2.10 please visit our User Services Site.
