CD-adapco’s North American
STAR Conferences 2006
New York and London, December 23, 2005.
CD-adapco is pleased to announce that the North American STAR American Conferences 2006 will take place at the Sheraton Detroit Novi (May 22-23, 2006) and in the San Diego, CA area (May 24th).
The conference will be a combination of presentations and workshops given by clients and key CD-adapco employees to provide invaluable knowledge and communicate future developments to the CFD community. The latest features and developments of CD-adapco's Full Spectrum CAE Software and Solutions will be presented, with special focus on:
* STAR-CD V4
* STAR-CCM+ (the new empowered computational continuum
mechanics code with unique benefits in terms of meshing
speed and robustness, solving accuracy, quicker turnaround
time and multiphysics capabilities)
* The STAR-CAD Series (a set of CAD-embedded CFD products
capable of performing simple flow and heat transfer
simulations for design engineers who do not require
the full (complex-physics) functionality of our other
solvers) and STAR-CAD Gateways products.
Delegates will get the opportunity to meet with employees of CD-adapco and fellow CFD users and to hear presentations given by industrial clients about real world CFD applications. The conference will also be supported by an exhibition of our hardware and software partners. This invitation extends to anyone in the CFD community or other interested parties, not just existing users of CD-adapco products.
To submit a paper for next year’s conference, please submit a 100-200 word abstract to rachel.gordon by February 1, 2006.
CD-adapco is the leading global provider of full-spectrum engineering simulation solutions for fluid flow, heat transfer and stress, including CFD software, CAD-embedded CFD options, CAE consulting services and training.
