CD-adapco to present “enterprise-wide Solution” on the 50th anniversary of the ASME Turbo Expo
London , May 31, 2005
CD-adapco, the leading provider of CAD-embedded flow simulation solutions will exhibit at the annual ASME Turbo Expo at the Reno Hilton in Reno, Nevada, June 6-9th 2005.
CD-adapco would like to congratulate ASME Turbo Expo on its 50th anniversary since it began as the ASME Gas Turbine Conference and Products Show in 1955. CD-adapco also reaches an important anniversary in 2005, as we mark 25 years in the CAE Industry! Help us celebrate both of these milestones at Booth 101 on Wednesday, June 8 during the cocktail reception between 4:00pm and 5:30pm.
The Turbomachinery industry's needs are perhaps the most demanding and varied of all when Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) solutions are required. The necessity of modeling complex geometries within demanding tolerances, coupled with extreme variations in operating conditions poses a formidable challenge. Simultaneously, design cycle times are being shortened, placing a greater dependence upon the efficiency and accuracy of CFD simulations. STAR-CD, STAR-CCM+ and the STAR-CAD Series equip the designer with the tools needed to overcome these challenges. With these tools, CFD has been successfully applied to virtually every component of contemporary turbomachinery.
You can meet with our representatives at Turbo Expo at Booth no 101to discuss how STAR-CD, STAR-CCM+ and the STAR-CAD Series can help you overcome your challenges. We will also be running a series of daily presentations throughout the show, from the Heritage stage on the Exhibition floor;
Tuesday, June 7, 4pm - 4.45pm
How we can help you - Structural optimization and characterizing Friction.
Wednesday, June 8, 12.30pm - 1.15pm
Improving performance and operability through numerical simulation and automated optimization
Thursday, June 9, 11.30am - 12.15pm
Recent advances in numerical modeling that improve productivity and model simulation accuracy.
Look for this paper to be presented at the conference also:
Wednesday, June 8, 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.
Detailed Study of Pulsating Flow Performance in a Mixed Flow Turbocharger Turbine
Aaron Costall, Mechanical Engineering Department, Dean Palfreyman, CD-adapco, Ricardo F. Martinez-Botas, Imperial College London.
Please check the program for the room number.
We hope to see you there.
