CD-adapco invites you to explore the business advantage that can be gained through the application of flow and thermal simulation technology within the Oil and Gas industry with us at Deep Offshore Technology 2006
New York and London, November 21, 2006
Visitors to the show are invited to attend a Business Technical Seminar: "Powerful Flow, Thermal and Stress Simulation Solutions for the Oil and Gas Industry" on November 29, 2006, to explain how CD-adapco's advanced simulation technology can be used to increase safety, reduce costs and improve efficiency of a wide range of Oil and Gas processes. The seminar will be held at the Hilton Americas Hotel, a short walk by skybridge from the conference centre. The seminar is free to attend, but prior registration is necessary as places are strictly limited:
If you are unable to join us on the 29th, CD-adapco staff will be on-hand throughout the conference at booth 318 where you can learn about CFD, see a demonstration of our software and find out how our simulation technology can help you.
More than any other, the Oil and Gas industry is dominated by fluids. From the extraction, processing and delivery of the hydrocarbons, to designing offshore platforms that are more able to resist the most extreme environmental conditions, understanding the behavior of fluids in and around your process is critical to success in an intensely competitive industry. Computational Fluid Dynamics (or CFD) is a technique that simulates the behavior of fluids using computer technology. CD-adapco flow and thermal simulation technology can provide insight into any problem that involves fluid flow (liquid or gas or combinations of both) and has been applied at every stage of the oil and gas production process from exploration to extraction, from transport to processing.
