From CAD to post-processing, STAR-CCM+ delivers the entire CFD process in a single integrated software environment. This unique approach brings unrivalled ease-of-use and automation to CAD preparation, meshing, model set-up and iterative design studies all in one environment, enabling your Engineers to deliver better results, faster.
By applying all model settings direct to CAD, design changes can be analysed by simply importing a revised geometry. CAD cleanup, meshing and boundary condition specification are performed automatically, using settings defined for the previous model, the solution from which is automatically mapped onto the new model for use as an initial condition, significantly reducing calculation times.
The ability to copy and paste meshes and setting between different models, leads to rapid set-up times for even the most complex simulation, and greatly reduces the potential for user error when specifying simulation parameters.
