In addition to our ongoing task of refining STAR-CD, CD-adapco is involved in the development of specialized tools for vertical applications, to deliver application-specific methodology for pre-processing, meshing and post-processing. STAR-CD does of course independently perform all the types of analyses carried out by the es-solutions, but this alternative approach, means that the focus is on capturing best practices within different applications, accuracy, the quickest turnaround time possible and on providing performance criteria.
