"Introduction to STAR-CCM+" - Running Start
The “Introduction to STAR-CCM+” video is a self paced learning center that guides a user through the steps necessary to import a geometrical model
into the software, resolve any meshing issues, create the grid, apply the physics
and finally post-process the results. The video is subdivided into various chapters,
and can be stopped and replayed at any stage by the viewer.
The narration is provided by one of CD-adapco’s own engineers and is appropriately
paced to guide a new user through the various steps in an engineering analysis
in everyday terminology.
During the video, we follow our own best practices to analyze the geometry and viewers of the video will observe the types of default settings that are best used to successfully model the geometry.
Who Should Attend?
This course is aimed at engineers who wish to learn more about how STAR-CCM+ can best fit into their modeling process and the benefits of using the software. Attendees should have some basic fluid mechanics knowledge in order to understand some of the basic engineering principles and terminology used in the video.

Attendees sign up for access using the CD-adapco web-site and have the option to pay the one time fee of $275 online, at registration time. The video can then be watched unlimited times for a period of 30 days at which point the registration will expire.
