Who Should Attend

The STAR-CCM+ Extensions are run as half day sessions right after the STAR-CCM+ training course. The Extensions are most suitable for engineers who want more in-depth knowledge of specific features that are only briefly introduced in the standard course layout. The course is also appropriate for experienced CFD engineers who quickly want to extend their knowledge in particular subject areas.

Course Description

The main STAR-CCM+ course aims to equip the attendee with understanding the basic concepts within STAR-CCM+. From there the STAR-CCM+ Extensions offer in-depth feature knowledge in up to two additional topics of your choice, amongst the following subjects:

• STAR-CCM+ 3D-CAD Modeler
• Surface Wrapping Hints and Tips
• Multi-Domain Meshing
• Introduction to JAVA™ Scripting in STAR-CCM+
• Compressible Flow Analysis
• Free Surface Analysis
• Heat Transfer Analysis
• Multi-DOF Analysis
• Rotating Machinery Analysis
• Turbulence Modeling

All these courses are also individually available via STAR-Tutor Interactive. Please indicate your preferred topics, up to two, on the registration page in the special requirements field.
