Who Should Attend

This course is intended for engineers and scientists who want to learn about advanced turbulence models in STAR-CCM+. Examples include basic validation cases, transition modeling using RANS models, and running an idalized side view mirror case with DES. Prior experience with STAR-CCM+ is helpful, but is not required.

Course Description

The course begins with a lecture discussing the range of turbulence models available in STAR-CCM+. This is followed by two workshops illustrating the use of STAR-CCM+ for common free-surface applications.
